I had to work a fair amount this weekend which meant I didn't get to play as much poker... not being able to play poker on the weekends when all the donkeys are out in full force is definitely a bad beat in itself. But then again, my "didn't get to play much" translates into playing for like 7 hrs total for the weekend. For some, that's not much at all but for others, it may sound like a lot...
So, I didn't get a chance to play much cash games but instead, I took a few shots at MTTs for a change. With FTOPS starting soon as well as the TOC coming up in June and all the tourneys I play during the BBT3, I figured it would be good if I studied MTT strategies and played more tournaments. I also want to win a WSOP package one way or another (whether I play in it or not is a different story) so, I decided to take a shot at the WSOP ME super sat...
Top 2 gets the seat, 3rd place gets a very ghey $250... My hopes were dashed when the button who had a similar size stack but I had him slightly covered raised from the button, I shoved from the SB with JJ... only to get called by the big stack who woke up with KK. That sucked...
Then there was the big game. Of all the blogger tourneys, I have to admit that this is my favorite, mainly because of the prize pool that this tournament generates. $1,200 first place prize is definitely worth fighting for unlike the other blogger tourneys. I got my necessary suckouts and made a few good reads/plays but in the end, I busted out in 4th place when I decided to make a stand with A9 against the big stack's A6 but this time, it was my turn to get sucked out on...
Ended up with a semi-ghey $350...
Speaking of ghey, how much are you hating presto here...
Set over set over set on the flop... what are the odds!?
I hope everyone had a very profitable weekend.

I was in a set over set over set hand at Bodog. I had top set with Queens, which thankfully held up for a nice pot at $1/2 NL.
You run goot lately.
you forgot to put up a screenshot of the awesome Q4 hand.
Nice results in the BigGame and the Satellite. I understand the bittersweet taste of not finishing on top, but nice cashes nonetheless.
Looks like all that work you did just prior to becoming king of the push fests really has paid off in your MTT game in general!
