That's my opinion, but you said you were willing to race. I would have figured even more you are racing against subversion x.

Easy call for me (easy to say now, of course).jamyhawkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10446095034113797225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207694267965942223.post-47251982109190924362007-11-28T05:32:00.000-05:002007-11-28T05:32:00.000-05:00I don't like to limp AQ with the hope of having a ...I don't like to limp AQ with the hope of having a shorty go all in and then calling. I much prefer to open raise and define everybody's hand. If after your early position raise the shortstack pushes, the guy with AJ should fold and then it'd be an easy call for you.

I would only like the play from a meta-game stance. As long as sometimes you are going to limp aces in early, you have to make sure that you also limp other hands so as to not be easy to read.AnguilAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02730432663394921591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207694267965942223.post-37166962159027616242007-11-27T15:52:00.000-05:002007-11-27T15:52:00.000-05:00Ewwwww.I was involved in foreplayEwwwww.

I was involved in foreplaybayne_shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14781778289281521788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207694267965942223.post-44070969982611089982007-11-27T14:42:00.000-05:002007-11-27T14:42:00.000-05:00I believe I used the word cream. Depends a lot on how active those players have been, but I think in a 5 dollar tournament I'm gonna take a chance there.ljhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06603337923688100360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207694267965942223.post-25904211492355860172007-11-27T14:34:00.000-05:002007-11-27T14:34:00.000-05:00Anonymous, interesting topic. It's my money and it's my cards so I will play however the fuck I want to play with it. I don't care about the trash talk and it's almost like another game to make sure it doesn't get to me. It's like basketball right? There are tons of trash talkers out there who try to intimidate you or get you off your shooting (ie, tilt you) and you just can't let it get to you. Either that or you gotta start firing back but if you do, make sure you're not playing into their hands.Alan aka RecessRampagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00544791207717813141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207694267965942223.post-71183003055473211952007-11-27T14:10:00.000-05:002007-11-27T14:10:00.000-05:00A little of topic, but thought I would post it her...A little of topic, but thought I would post it here.

What is your stance on trash talking at the table. I'm not sure what it was but last night I played in two different tables and was getting talked down to. I know the players were mad I was getting the cards, but I can't stand when I get lucky and they tell me stupid play. Of cource, it got in my head too and I lost a hand I shouldn't have.

Later on that night another player was pulling the same card. Mentioning how I was calling when I shouldn't have been (even though I won the hand). He continued talking trash, including saying he had a flush, when his hand ended up being 2 pair.

What do you (and your readers) think of trash talking while playing? Do you do this? Does it drive you crazy when others do it?

Keep up the good work, and glad to see you posting agian.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207694267965942223.post-52129575511742048192007-11-27T13:57:00.000-05:002007-11-27T13:57:00.000-05:00I am also very excited about the iron man promotio...I am also very excited about the iron man promotion for December. Although I am not nearly as excited as you obviously. The only think is bonus money comes out of rake back so I need to sit down and figure out which is worth more. Hopefully if rake back is worth more I can just email them and have them take my bonus away.Chad Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14771856744998773711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207694267965942223.post-85120181689336229932007-11-27T13:22:00.000-05:002007-11-27T13:22:00.000-05:00Depends on how much you want to gamble. Running into two people with AJ is rarely going to happen, instead it's more likely you're going to be flipping with one, and the other probably has one of your outs (An ace). AQ against a shorty like you said is fine, but against some who comes over the top as well, AQ blows (AQ sucks in general, though).

Then again, this is a $5 buy-in, so maybe your AQ is gold there.Mike Maloneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09293592756387294116noreply@blogger.com
